Field recording at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Upton Broad is always a pleasure.

It was fairly quiet apart from the rustle of the reeds and, towards the end, a distant helicopter. So there’s something satisfying about finding a really good spot to sit down and listen and let the recording equipment do all the work.
